TESTIMONIALS
NICK GONZALEZ
Age: 26
My name is Nicholas Gonzalez and I'd like to tell others out there of my experiences with Ben Asmann as a trainer, and how he's aided me in my journey to become successful in my fitness goals.
First off I'd like to say some things about Ben. Ben is tremendously talented and very well rounded. He is one of the most down to earth, comedic people I know. However he is also very professional and a man of his word. I respect his outlook on life and the way he carries himself as a person. Ben has incredible virtues he carries with him such as devotion, sacrifice, and heart which is clearly portrayed in his work. When he means business, he means business. He is passionate about what he does and you can clearly see him relate all of his efforts in bodybuilding/competing as he does in everyday life. This is one organized individual who works hard at everything he comes across. This is something I highly respect of Ben. He is confident at what he does, and for good reason.
Ben has helped me learn a lot about not only the body in general, but most importantly my body. I've gone to Ben with endless questions about how to achieve certain goals whether it be bulking or cutting, or training to be photo shoot ready. If you want to be successful and don't know where to start, I highly recommend Ben as a trainer to aid in your journey to reach your goals. If you follow his steps based on your body and your needs, you will achieve excellent results. Ben's methods are both effective and accurate. He has shown me I am capable of much more than I thought I was. And once you find this about yourself the fun is just beginning.
I have many inspirations in life however there are always those that stand out more than others. Ben has been a big inspiration in my life. Meeting him and being able to get to know him has been a blessing for me. I've not only changed my physical and mental state, but I've had fun doing it and I owe him lots for achieving this. Ben I thank you for helping me, and being a part of this. Thank you Ben for all that you've done for me, it truly means a lot! Keep up the great work and always remember, hit it hard Benny! --- Nick G

Goals: To become ‘show ready’ for upcoming bodybuilding competition.
I always loved working out with my boyfriend and friends but never really had a real set goal to achieve from all the gym time. My boyfriend was in search of a new trainer for his upcoming show in September at our new gym in Brandon. We mingled around and ran into this monster of a guy, found out he has a great track record with competing and we decided we needed to meet up with him to see if he would be interested in training someone for a show. In all the talks with Ben (the monster) about my boyfriend’s competition he looked at me and asked if I was interested in competing as well. WOW, NO WAY was my first thought, but as it sank in the thought became realistic and I said yes if I can get ‘show ready’ by September I’ll hop on stage. So now I’m 30 weeks out from MY show, headed over to the gym to meet up with Ben and on my mind is how am I going get on stage in 3-4 inch heels. To my surprise, Figure was not on his mind, we going all out with Woman’s Bodybuilding! It fit me perfect!!! I already love to train hard and now I have a real goal set.
Through the 30 weeks of training and dieting I gained a new family, Ben and his wife Erica, Team 3BC, and every other competitor I ran in to. It was an amazing experience and I know I couldn’t have gotten through it without all the fantastic support from my new family, especially Ben. He was always a phone call/text/email away with any questions for the training/diet and even helped keep my boyfriend and myself level – you need that since dieting can play with your mind. We had meetings once a week to get numbers and new regiments and on occasion we were able to hit the gym together – which my legs will never forget those days! When we got closer to the shows the meetings became posing practice and I learned practice really does make perfect. I’m so glad Ben was there to correct my posing and keep me head strong. Before you know it we are on our way to weigh in and next day on stage.
Show time right, nervous as all get out but I got Team 3BC at my back. Got my spray tan looking nice and posing suit is on. Backstage getting pumped up and my class is called to get in line for stage time. I walk on stage and all I can here is Team 3BC cheering for me, got my game face on and hit every pose like I was taught. Time was up and as soon as I got of stage all I could do was jump for joy at the excitement that came from standing on stage posing. I ended up getting 1st at that show, entered another one 3 wks later and got 4th. All I know is there is no way I could have done this without the brilliant training, dieting, and supplementation from Ben. He knows his stuff and it showed!! Thank you Ben, Erica and Team 3BC!!!

Goals: To gain size and bring quads in alot leaner. Place top 3 in my show!
I was always a heavy kid with some shape and size. So about three years ago I decided to start training for a bodybuilding show. I competed as a lightweight in my first show about ten months after I started. I trained hard and dieted good and thought I looked pretty sharp. My upper body was shredded but for some reason legs had not much seperation and was not as lean. So from there I was a little frustrated and knew I had alot of hard work ahead but not really knowing what else I could do. So I started to seek a trainer and found Ben and 3BC. I told him my biggest problem was I can not get my legs lean enough. That my upper body is pretty much taking away from everything. So he said lets start hitting the legs together and work on it. So for the next 30 weeks we trained legs together every Friday night following hisevery step and pushing my legs harder than I ever thought possible. Then while following his written out nutrition diet and getting his recommended supplements I started seeing great results and finally building confidence for my shows. Towards the last couple of weeks with many cardio changes and workout routines my legs had way more size and seperations. Then came September 11th which was the first show. Lakeland classic level 3. I was dialed in nice with great shape. I had great size and leanness on my quads with the rest following. But for that was still only enough for fourth place out of ten men. I felt that was it in my head. I have done all I can. Not knowing Ben had alot more in store for the next three weeks. He said forget the judges on this one you looked great. Now its game time, do everything I say for the next couple weeks and we will place. So from there with his knowledge in his works we changed the diet a bit, cardio got a little harder to finish and workouts were getting tougher with reps and differences. But I put alot of energy into and went for it. I did anything he said and trained like it was my last show. I was so full of energy and strength I had people asking a week out where is all this coming from. I said going for fifth show with no placings and have myself and a great trainer to prove we can get some hardware. We were noticing changes day by day and I was just so thrilled how much I have changed in just little time. So came weigh ins I was 4 pounds heavier and alot leaner in the legs. I was super pumped now. I went on and posed as hard as I could and just had my head held high then. I knew we did all we could and I worked very hard with a very smart trainer in my corner. I finally got my top 3 placing as well as the most promising bodybuilder award. I was just speechless. With all Bens knowledge and guidance I finally felt accomplised in what I want to do. I know it will only get better from here!

Age: 27
History: A few competitions in powerlifting and bodybuilding
Goals: Lead a healthy life, compete occasionally
I highly recommend to bodybuilders both novice and advanced to seek the guidance of an experienced, well-educated coach anytime they enter a competition. I decided to enter the MuscleMania Fitness Florida Bodybuilding competition in August 2010 after having been out of the bodybuilding game for over 4 years.
Ben provided high-quality detailed consultation months out from the show regarding diet, exercise, and supplementation. Equally important was the fact that I knew I could text him whenever I needed the extra motivation to stick with it. Leading up to my contest there were many instances where I lacked confidence in my physique and questioned why I was putting myself through so much along with my hectic work schedule. I would send both written texts and pictures to show my progress. Ben always encouraged me to hang in there and I can't thank him enough.
In the final weeks he was a great help in making sure my diet was dialed in and supplementation was proper. It can be very overwhelming to both novices and those who have a little experience such as myself to keep up with this. Ben helped me wade through all the BS and get all the essentials. Through this experience I have gained a renewed self-confidence in my abilities and gained a great mentor and friend.
Thank you Ben for everything!

SCHERRY POWERS
Age: 40+
Goals: Live a healthier life, and get the body leaner than she has ever been before
I've always "worked out" and tried to stay physically fit but as I've gotten older I find shedding pounds to become more difficult. I started working with Ben in January and have been so pleasantly "surprised" by the changes in my body. Not only have I shed pounds but have become more "toned" which is something that has always eluded me in the past. I can attribute this dramatic change to the diet regiment he's given me along with the supplements he has recommended and of course EXERCISE! I've had more "compliments" over this year from friends, family, etc. I told him what my goals were and followed his direction and the results have been more than I could have hoped for.
GO 3bc!!!!!

Goals: Get bigger and stronger. Learn as much as possible.
I first met Ben Asmann in my sophomore year of college at The University of South Florida campus gym. I had only been weight training for a couple of years and was stuck in a serious rut when it came to training and reaching my goals. Ben was the biggest guy in the gym, everyone wanted to be his friend and learn his secrets to his success. We became friends through a mutual friend and shortly after that Ben took me under his wing and included me in his workout and power lifting sessions at the gym.
Ben helped me to increase my motivation to train, break through the plateau that I was stuck in, and reach personal bests in multiple areas that still stand to this day as well as teaching me what I needed to learn to live a healthy and fit life, for life.
Ben helped me to dial in my eating, my supplements, and training regimen, which took my strength, mass, leanness and overall look to levels I never considered possible. The knowledge of nutrition Ben bestowed upon me helped me to realize the passion I have for nutrition and the study of nutrition which has stuck with me ever since and one of the main reasons I am now going back to college to become a Registered Dietitian (RD). The workouts Ben put me through were some of the hardest of my life, but thanks to his constant up beat, fun and sometimes goofy attitude my mind set was always where it needed to be… Focused on training.
Ben’s workouts pushed me to my limits, especially the early morning power lifting, but we all always had a smile on our faces and extremely positive attitudes thanks to Ben. There were NEVER any negative thoughts, feelings or attitudes when training with Ben, he really gets you to focus and his positive reinforcement really keeps you striving to push yourself and achieve more. While I was under Ben’s training and nutritional supervision I was able to build my once skinny 5’8” frame to 186 LEAN lbs and reach max weight in bench, squat, dead lift and leg press that I still haven’t been able to reach since.
There are truly not enough great things I can say about being under the training and nutritional supervision of Ben Asmann. Ben not only pushes you in the gym when he is with you, but what I have learned (and you will too) from Ben, has helped me to build upon and expand my knowledge of proper training, nutrition and supplementation for my specific goals. This invaluable knowledge will stay with me for life. I can say that much of the reason I am still in great shape despite multiple (non training related) shoulder injuries and surgeries as well as working a very high stress and sedentary job are because of what I learned from Ben Asmann.
If you’re serious about meeting your individual goals, learning what it will take to lead a healthy and fit life, and having someone that truly cares about YOU and the goals YOU have, there is no one I can recommend more than Ben Asmann.

CHRIS O'CONNOR
Age: 19 (I met Ben when I was 16.)
Goals: Initially, strictly weightloss. Then... competitive bodybuilding.
Ben has been there for me since day one! He's the one that pretty much lit the fire under my butt to help... not only motivate me to lose weight and get into the awesome sport of bodybuilding; but to change my life.
He didn't seem like a trainer to me, he was more of a person who I could talk to and relate to about certain situations. If I was nervous or embarrased to talk to someone, or ask someone about a certain situation or problem I had regarding almost anything; I knew I could talk to Ben.
When people didnt believe in me or laughed at me for saying I wanted to do this there was always one person who took me seriously and that was Ben.
I know this sounds kinda corny bro, but it's the truth. I owe my life today to you man. And I just wanna say thanks!

TONY MIRA
Age: 22 (I met Ben when I was 19)
Goals: Put on muscle and eventually step on stage as a bodybuilder.
I have always been a tall lanky guy. I graduated highschool at 140 pounds and not in the best physical health. With the encouragment of some friends, I began training at 19 and slowly learned how to properly preform excercises and eat healthier. I made some progress and got up to 170 pounds, still nothing substantial until I met Ben.
With his knowledge and guidance I have gone from 170 pounds to 240 pounds and my strength and size is much greater than it ever was. In August 2010, Ben also prepped me for the Dexter Jackson Classic where I received third place in the Novice Heavyweight class. Without his help, I would have never competed and achieved the goals I have for myself.
It has been just three years since I was a 140 pound frail boy and I have already added 100 pounds to my frame, with Ben's assistance. I hope to compete again and continue to improve my physique and overall health.
